Pay in cash when your book arrives at your door.
BookCare offers Cash on Delivery (COD) on paperback print orders, so you can order now and pay the delivery agent in cash when your books arrive. No advance payment, no card, no UPI needed.
How COD works

| 1. Checkout | Choose "Cash on Delivery" as your payment method and fill your full delivery address |
| 2. Confirmation | Your order is confirmed instantly and you receive an order ID |
| 3. Dispatch | Books are packed and shipped within 1-2 business days |
| 4. Delivery | Pay the exact order amount in cash to the delivery agent (3-7 business days) |
COD rules & charges
- COD is available only on orders containing at least one print paperback. Pure ebook (PDF) orders require online payment since delivery is instant.
- A small COD handling fee of ₹29 is added to COD orders (shown clearly at checkout before you confirm).
- Free shipping above ₹499 applies to COD orders too — you only pay the COD fee plus any shipping fee if below ₹499.
- Please keep the exact order amount ready in cash at delivery. Delivery agents may not carry change.
- Our team may call or message the phone number given at checkout to confirm COD orders before dispatch. Unreachable or refused COD orders may be cancelled.
- Repeated COD refusals can lead to COD being disabled for your phone number or address.
COD refunds
If a COD order is returned due to damage or a wrong item, the paid amount is refunded via UPI or bank transfer after we receive the returned parcel, as per our Refund Policy. For any COD question, reach us on Support.
